Tasting Notes
This traditional "Bordeaux" blend is led by merlot, with cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon, from Osoyoos and Black Sage sites in the South Okanagan. It was aged 15 months in French and American oak. It is a nicely balanced, integrated wine, with a full, even palate. The nose is fairly lifted, featuring cab herbs and tobacco, yet nicely meshed with red and black currant fruit and fine oak. All in all quite fine. It is medium-full bodied, in-filled and cohesive. Tannins are quite prevalent but not green. The length is excellent, the finish adds a touch [of] dark chocolate. Best 2027 to into the 2030s. Tasted September 2025. (David Lawrason,winealign.com)
