Dark, rich flavors of black cherry and blackberry lead off in this full-bodied red, along with oak spice, tar and mineral notes. Broad and moderately lush, showing power and length on the brooding finish. This well-integrated version needs a few years to settle down. Best from 2029 through 2043.
