Shale Ridge was founded in 2019 in the emerging Lake Huron region. They grow Riesling, Vidal Blanc, Marquette, Baco Noir and Merlot, but they also source grapes from Niagara, which they then vinify and age at the winery. This floral wine was vinified in stainless steel and has bold red and dark fruit, herbs and earth. Pair it with roasted or grilled meats or veggies.
