A step up in elegance from the 2017, the 2019 Costières de Nîmes Lou Coucardié is beautifully balanced, offering deep notes of blackberries, spiced meats, and graphite alongside a meaty, powerful core. Rich and concentrated yet fresh and focused, it carries medium to full-bodied weight with ripe, fine tannins and terrific length. A stunning wine, it should drink well over the next 10-12 years.
