Tasting Notes
This is a juicy wine up front, turning firm and authentic on the back end, which is to say, structured, with genuine depth and range of flavours in the classic repertoire. Strawberry jam, black cherry, black raspberry, and mild resinous herbal spice mingle with little evident wood influence to report. Authentically firm, with succulent acids, and impressive length. This is a much more serious wine than the label, and the price, would lead one to believe. Best from 2026. Tasted June 2025. (John Szabo, MS,winealign.com)
