Tasting Notes

Founded in 1978, Zaccagnini makes wines that are immediately recognizable on the shelf; they're the ones with the small piece of gra pevine cutting attached to the neck of the bottle. As for what's in the bottle, expect to encounter ripe dark fruit, blackberry, cassis, cedar and spice. This will be a reliable food wine that will work with meaty pasta dishes or smoked-meat platters.
