The wines of Alpha Estate have a poised, polished character that separates them from many of their top-performing peers. The Axia Sy rah/Xinomavro has evolved into a thoroughly modern-styled offering, with ripe dark berry, peppery spice, clove and vanilla notes. It has the oomph to last into the early-to-mid-2030s. Try it with a chili featuring lentils and black beans.
