Tasting Notes
An off-dry saperavi which means drier than the Old Marani Napareuli, versatile and able to stand alongside many of the traditional meats, cheeses and pastries of the old country. Fine vintage for this label, ripe and also taut, sour-edged, fruit jam filling pastry flavours, all red fruit, all the time. Even some tannic edginess so for the price this is a Georgian gift that keeps on giving. Drink 2024-2027. Tasted April 2024. (Michael Godel,winealign.com)
