Riesling, which is believed to have originated in the Rhine Valley, was first mentioned in 15th-century documents from Rheinhessen. This wine is named for the vineyard location: 482 kilometres down the Rhine River at Nierstein. It's crisp, juicy and joyful, with peach, pear and apricot. Try it with pork sausages or rosemary roasted butternut squash.
