Crafted from an unorthodox combo of grape varieties grown side by side in a single vineyard, this elegantly structured wine was aged for 30 months in French oak. Evocative of white pepper, brambly berries, smoked meats, dark chocolate and cassis, it will impress for a decade or more from vintage, particularly with herb-crusted steaks or game.
