Tasting Notes
The 2024 Sancerre is a nice surprise. It's a gentle, tender style with rounded shoulders and bright, balanced acidity. A small portion was made and matured in old barrels, which helped soften its angles. It also underwent some lees stirring to increase palate richness. The 2024 is a ripe, attractive and classical Sancerre that overcomes the difficulties of the harvest. Drinking window: 2025-2029. (Rebecca Gibb, MW,vinous.com,Aug. 7, 2025)
