Trius Showcase Clark Farm Pinot Noir VQA
$45.00
Tasting Notes
Although the label says VQA Niagara Peninsula, this pinot is from the Clark Farm in the Four Mile Creek sub-appellation, a blend of the seven best barrels from the vineyard, aged 10 months. It's a delicate and refined example, with ultra-fine tannins leaving ripe-zesty acids to carry the weight. Fruit is properly in the red fruit spectrum, joined by savoury notes, earth, leather, spice, clean overall. Length and depth are very good. Delicate and elegant overall, ready to drink or hold until the end of the decade. Tasted February 2025. Score - 90. (John Szabo, MS, winealign.com)
