Tasting Notes
A sustainably grown, vegan-friendly Riesling from the Sustainable Premium Series of Kacaba. The grapes for this wine receive extra hang time, harvested at the beginning of November, to enhance flavour concentration. Lemon-lime and honey overlay pear and candy-apple notes. A vivaciously mineral core expands to all edges of the palate with bursts of ripe acidity zapping a high-tempo pulse of brilliance in every sip. This Ontario Riesling is energetic and wonderfully balanced. Excellent finish. Drink now or cellar until 2030. Score - 95. (Leah Spooner, leahspooner-wine.com, Sept. 2025)
