Tasting Notes

The 2021 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Cuvée Duvault-Blochet is mostly a blend of younger vine La Tâche, along with the domaine's holdings in Les Gaudichots and Petit Monts. It's deeper and fleshier than the Corton, unwinding in the glass with aromas of dark berries and plums mingled with notions of baking spices, espresso roast and vanilla pod, followed by a full-bodied, layered and almost unctuously rich palate with a cool and vibrant core of fruit, supple tannins and a long, sapid finish.
