The Merlot-based 2023 Moulin de Duhart is a charmer. Succulent, juicy and bold, the 2023 will be absolutely delicious to drink on release. There's a bit more Cabernet Sauvignon in this year's blend, which adds aromatic nuance to play off the natural exuberance of the fruit. Hints of pipe tobacco, spice, new leather, cedar and mint linger on the long, vibrant finish. This is impeccably done. The blend is 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon. Drinking window: 2028-2033.
