Rarely grown anywhere other than its home in the Iberian Peninsula, the Godello (go-DAY-yo) grape blends the warm, rich body of an aged Chardonnay with the brisk, saline character of Albariño. An excellent wine for fresh bread topped with sardines or olivada (Spanish olive tapenade).
