Tasting Notes
Showing a nice combination of primary aromas and some delicately evolved tones, the Fattoi 2017 Brunello di Montalcino hits a good balance. The wine is enjoyable to drink, and although this vintage doesn't show the depth and complexity that we saw in the previous two releases, it hits all the basics of an age-worthy Tuscan red. Production is 35,000 bottles in this vintage. Lavender, grilled rosemary, cherry and crushed stone appear on the silky, mid-weight finish. Drink date: 2024-2038.
