Tasting Notes

Fantastic bouquet, complex and layered with scents of a softer barrel ferment approach, layers of lees with a core of ripe fruit suggesting green melon and cape gooseberry, each and sandy mineral ideas. Other fruits of grapefruit and apple emerge as the wine warms and opens out. On the palate a quietly energetic wine with complexities from citrus and lees, some barrel ferment then apple and melon. Some very tannins and white spice, sandy soils and lees complexities deliver a wine of charms and power. Best drinking from late 2025 through 2031+. Excellent.
