Tasting Notes

The 2021 Syrah Collezione Privata is a delicate, nuanced wine. After all these years, the Syrah has become quite Tuscan in personality. Bright red-toned fruit, blood orange, spice and rose petal open first. There's lovely freshness and purity to the fruit, but also less Syrah character than in many previous editions. Even so, the 2021 is an elegant, captivating wine. I imagine it will age with grace. Drinking window: 2026-2041. (Antonio Galloni,vinous.com,July 11, 2024)
