Amaro Istrino from Croatia is an herbal digestive made with macerated herbs, roots and green walnuts in fermented grape pomace, then blended and matured in oak casks. Distinctive notes of orange peel, licorice and walnuts are evident on the nose, with Mediterranean herbs, nuts and bitter-sweet citrus on the palate.
